Last night my book club got together for discussion on Patti Lacy’s book, An Irishwoman’s Tale. Patti even called during our meeting to answer any of our questions. We all loved the book and are looking forward to her next book titled, What the Bayou Saw. I was very impressed that Patty took the time to call our group even though she was out of state away from home. We appreciated her commitment to us and sharing of herself about her writing journey and the story of Mary. This was a fiction story inspired by true events, which made the story really come to life for our group. Before knowing that these things really happened to someone, a few couldn’t believe that so much could happen to one person. I would highly recommend this book and will be telling everyone I know about it.
